Stop "Autorun" or "Autoplay"………

We use Pen-drive to transfer data or file from one pc to another pc. To spread virus, Pen-drive is a uses media. When we attach a pen-drive to transfer data or file then pen-drive (Autorun or Autoplay) has been opened automatically in computer and the virus of pen-drive spread in computer…..

We can stop this at computer before attach a pen-drive at computer.

How To stop “Auto Play” or “Autorun”

Step#1:

Click at Start menu > Run

Then open Run Window Write “gpedit.msc” and click Ok.

Then you will see a window from this

Click Administrative Templates > System

Then you at the right sight a option “Turn off auto play” Double click on this and you will get a new window.

Step#3:

From this, Select the “Enable” tab and then select “All Drives” at Turn off auto play on.

For more safety, Never open pen-drive by double clicking. Always open your pen-drive after checking through Anti-virus in Explore Mode.

You can change many other options from there which are available there.
